A Winter Tale Poem by David Harris

A Winter Tale

Rating: 5.0

The winter snow lays
white upon the ground
and glistens in the sunlight
of a brand new day.
The snow is crisp under foot
to show us Jack Frost has been about.
The windows show his artistry
on the inside and the out.
A chill from a north wind
bites through everything,
and everything is waiting
for the coming warmth of spring.

Roll on spring I say. I'm already fed up with this weather we are having once again. Lovely piece David, I saw Jack Frost on the car the other morning with all his wonderful designs, then had to scrape him off. Sadly. A lovely read and a pleasure to do so. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
