Oh poetry,
You toxic drug,
Your kiss is all I crave
Just one embrace has changed my life,
Now I am your shameless slave
Yes dear friend, I totally agree with you... addiction to poetry is greater than any other kind of addictions! Once you are addicted, it's almost impossible to give it up!
Poetry is a an addiction more powerful than alcahol. Beautifully penned. I appreciate it.
