Adrian's Bulut Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Adrian's Bulut

Moments paused as breath quickly fastened
Lips moved as sound became irrelevant
irrelevant to the eyes that spoke louder than the hush that captivated us both
Surely lost in infatuation
as the weight of your skin was heaven in itself
Sultry was the voice that first spoke hello
Next came the light that eclipsed the shadows that shed clothes in the essence of need
beckoning for forever
I say not for the fear of honesty
But in fear I may not be able to breathe without you again
