Alaki Line Blues Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Alaki Line Blues

If only I could feel your stare
The understanding of what's felt behind your eye
Warm sighs that long to breathe into the hellos of tomorrow
Why be afraid to fall into the depth of abundance you already know
Selfishness of yourself
As I can feel the warmth that no longer wishes empty hellos
Each passing stare becomes fantasy
Beckoning to meet need of realities grace
A simple yes to the brink of your sighs
The gentle craving that bares no secrets
Tamed by the cosmos that rapture the golden halos that are your eyes
The needing to cress
The fulfillment of living out forever in a day
Why be afraid to fall into the depth of abundance you already know
Selfishness of yourself as heaven bares no darkness
Sunlight tiptoes across the shadows of your face
Seducing the darkness with the splendor of heavens touch
Leaving fear in vain
As deep down it unknowingly becomes purpose
If only I could feel your stare
Night would no longer search for days bliss
As day becomes night
In the sight of your eye
Sultry lisps that gleam from the halo of your eyes
All along becoming love in your stares
Selfishness of yourself
