He taught me
to seek freedom
fearlessly.
He taught me
the difference between
good
and good enough
and he taught me
how to stand on my own
and face the world
saying 'yeah,
this is me. I'm
not going anywhere.'
He taught me
that mirrors
will only make you
forget
what you really look like.
He taught me
to never settle
and to hold strong.
He taught me
that life
really is
worth it.
There are no words
to express
how much he has
inspired me..
I truly hope
I can make him proud
someday.
