Along The Waves Poem by Indira Renganathan

Along The Waves

Rating: 5.0

Sitting on the shore she stretched her legs
Towards the sea to relax from the daily chores
Enjoying in her closed eyes the breeze tender
She felt a sudden touch of a tiny wave's hugs

Tickled a smile of her heart awaited more
Haa! in awe an unexpected embrace of a huge tide
That was a trance..she met him close by her side
'God! is this real'..she shrieked at a bygone lore
