I've fallen in love with a woman
The same way that I've grown & learned to fall
in love with the idea
That Jesus forgives us for the way we carelessly throw
Ourselves to the wind.
When you're young, you just roll with it
Not fully grasping the concept until you're older.
There are going to be mistakes, petty arguments
About who did what.
The celibacy of putting things into perspective.
Separating carnal desire and the reason
she hasn't left your side.
At the end of the day there is no other faith
I'd want to hide my face in.
There is no other pocket I'd want to reach my hand in
No other phone I'd want to use other than my own
That has her picture saved under her number.
The greatest form of love we often take for granted
Is that of the one second of consideration it takes
To thank the person, that truly loves us for us.
A love like that is worth the sacrifice
In Jesus' name
Amen
