An Illusory World Poem by Sandra Feldman

An Illusory World

Rating: 5.0

Finally
Poetry,
You're all I have,
It's me and you
Against all odds,
Against the World,
Will we survive?

A bitter-sweet breeze
Accompanies,
This chant.

A wonderful and thought provoking poem. Sometimes we feel this way, in one way or another. Poetry gives solace and it is the treasure that cannot be taken away from us. A heartfelt write so wonderfully written.

Sort of sad. Poetry in itself is nothing more than words, just as a conversation with ones self, poetry is a connection with others....at least to me it is, then again, I’m no poet, I do know that if I were the only existing person on earth....poetry would be of no account at all, some people claim to write for themselves but still put themselves out there for others to see, and I think this is a good thing, a world without a friend is a world without poetry
