Anderson Cmlviii Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

It's easy to give you my life
I wouldn't think of doing something else
Yr eyes are as beautiful as a virgin ocean
Never spoiled by human misery
O how I want to kiss those lips
And stroke a wisp of yr hair
Just thought of you with someone
That isn't worthy of yr love
Making me want to burst out of this room
I would carry you to a cabin in the mountains
And sketch out yr name in stone
To proclaim my love--my unlying love
But you don't know me--I'm just a poet
Poor, however, honest

In all honesty, in the same way that she's not worthy of his love, he's not worthy of yours. Perhaps, it's best to move on, poetess friend.
