Angels Waiting Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Angels Waiting

Rating: 5.0

Lone men filled with desire, now elderly and living
alone in an empty house, no one to come home to any-
more, just being alone.

Memories lying still within a mind of few words, know-
ing that angels are waiting with the love of his life
beyond the black curtains of life and death.

Never to be opened except by death's grasp, only when
he's ready and has accepted God's command to do so,
living a solitary life, for there's nothing more to do.

Memories lying still within a mind of few words still motivate us to proceed toward God and accept him. This poem is deeply philosophical poem.
