As Leaves Fall Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

As Leaves Fall

Rating: 5.0

Grey clouds linger in the morning sky.
Woodland whispers as the breeze floats by.
Leaves are falling onto sodden ground.
This special place,
A gem to be found.
Silent thoughts,
Of moments with you.
Tears flow freely,
For you each day.
Grey clouds,
Start to drift away.
Longing for,
Some summer sun.
A time when we were truly one.

Nostalgic and sentimental. Beautifully written with great love and grace. Full marks, dear Jayne.
