As The Days Pass By - Poem by Dhruv Dikshit

As the days pass by,
Juice of life begins to dry,
Couples bifurcate for a single lie,
Not a word, no good bye.

As the days pass by,
Crimes include a lose tie,
All the sweet reasons die,
The little baby had to cry.

As the days pass by,
Beast starts to run and fly,
Innocence is lost that made you shy,
Are you a lover or a spy?

As the days pass by,
Softest of beds itch where we lie,
Dark clouds but no bright sky,
Temptations locked in a box of ply.

As the days pass by,
Losing the connections that we tie,
A relation in which we do not rely,
The hope is lost without a try.
