Lennon. Lightfoot.
McCartney.
Where are they going?
Ask Cohen.
He's been there,
And back -
BUT
He's
Not the only
Wholly holy
Soul among us!

And not that he wouldn't deserve it. In his early adulthood I admired the beauty of his lyrics. As an older man, I admire how he picked himself up, and went back to work after having been totally fleeced by a formerly trusted manager. Such betrayal may have caused the downing of a few beers, a few bottles of wine.....but he didn't allow himself to fall into the role of a victim, and for that, he's back on a pedestal. A truly great Soul!
