Bama, Let Them Criticize Poem by Hebert Logerie

Bama, Let Them Criticize

Rating: 2.9

The speech that you made in Germany
Was excellent, astounding and amazing.
Your critics are blinded by bias and by jealousy.
Most of them are still living
Under the old virulent past.
Some racists and sore losers will never change
No matter what non-whites do. At last,
You just emerged and they find strange
That somebody like you can energize and excite
So many decent and open-minded individuals.
Let them criticize, let them talk, let them rant.
This time, they can only blame themselves
If you don’t become the next President
Of the old U.S.A. You are out of sight
To use a colloquial or a vernacular term.
You are re-writing the human history.
I believe there is one race, one germ.
Ignore your critics and let them hide behind the ugly tree.
Some people will never change no matter what.
Some have no conscience and no common sense.
It is unimaginable for a non-white to do something like that;
I am elated and very proud of your presence
On the political scene. You went to Israel and to Palestine.
You visited many friendly and unfriendly countries.
You are a proud American and a true Citizen
Of the world. You are building more bridges
For humankind and I pray that you’ll win in November.
May God bless you and help the dissenters see clearer.
All of us can really change and improve everything for the better.
We all shall overcome and all of US shall open wide the barrier.

Your zeal really stands out in this one. Though rational minds may disagree, there's no man I respect more than one who stands by what he truly believes in...Jeff.

HEBERT, YOU SAID IT JUST AS I FEEL AND BELIEVE WITH MY WHOLE HEART AND BRAIN. EVERY TIME I HEAR A FELLOW-SHOUTER/DEFENDER OF EQUALITY, COMMON BEGINNINGS, THAT WE'RE ALL ONE AND THE SAME, AD INFINITUM, I FEEL RELIEF BEYOND WORDS. SEPARATISM WAS INVENTED BY MAN. ALL THE MYTHOLOGICAL JUSTIFICATIONS FOR ALL THAT IS WRONG AND CRUEL WAS INVENTED BY MAN, IN MY NOT SO HUMBLE OPINION. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR THOUGHTS AND PASSION WITH US. CAROL P.S.: I NEVER TOLERATE INTOLERANCE.

We witness here a phenomenon far greater than a simple quest for U.S. Presidency........we see a universal gathering of people desperately in quest of mutual.....unity......and.......spiritual.......understanding!

Herbert, you just don't get it, do you? We Americans do not elect a citizen of the world to serve as our president! We elect an American to serve as President of the United States of America! All the blather about 'mythological justifications' (whatever that pompous construction means in plain English1) to the contrary, and your admirers' 'intolerance of intolerance' (a pious but empty phrase) serve as reminders of previous 'fellow-shouters' of 'equality' like Marx and Lenin, who showed us what really lies behind grand phrases espoused by politicians like your adored Obama! Read some history, especially of the disasters of the recent 20th century, and reflect on what notions like yours bring to your fellow citizens!

Not the human history but just human history. There is no other. There is only one Savior, and that is Jesus Christ. Obama is just a man. A very well meanting and exceptional man but just a man. Il peut échouer toi et I mais il fera son meilleur. -Le Chat.

I'm a Republican. Not racist, but don't agree with Obama. His beliefs (cheifly, pro choice and supports gay marriage) are wrong and against the Bible.
