Barefoot Poem by Lamar Cole

Barefoot

Rating: 5.0

Wearing a white dress and gold necklace chain.
Ella looked so sweet walking barefoot in the rain.
She just wanted to feel the rain between her toes.
And the raindrops falling lightly on her cornrows.
Just a pretty little inner city girl.
Loving her rainy day world.

Oh, that age would not hinder or forget the simple pleasures of childhood. A wonderful picture in a poem. Thank you. poet and friend.
