I am familiar with a lot of the Italian scene and its architecture, paintings, etc., not all by on-the-scene experience. I can appreciate a lot of what you allude to by name and will strive to look up some of those names I am not familiar with. The benefits of the internet are a blessing. I would be interested to know whether your poem appeals to those who know hardly anything about what you mention or wether they can appreciate just the marvelous sound of the Italian language. Your first stanza is very inviting in its descriptive depiction of the coast lines. I hope it encourages others to learn more about what Italy has to offer. I will be disappointed if only a few find pleasure in it.
