Beginning Again - Poem by Kendal Pope Miller
I see now that it's time to go.
Not a time to weep or to be in woe.
My darling, in your arms I belong.
We're moving on, so please be strong.
I think now we both see, it's time to be set free.
I know how you look at her, but remember our past is not a blur.
Our love is like a piece of art, that is now painted forever in my heart. You lead me to where I need to be, even though to you it might seem like across the deep blue sea.
You brought me back to who I am, and now I know you actually give a damn.
Maybe it's true, that I'll find someone new.
Remember these words because they are true; that no matter what I will always love you.
