Being Together Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Being Together

Rating: 5.0

I long to share your presence,
But you're no longer here.
With you there are no tomorrow's,
Just memories of yesteryears.
Death built a wall between us,
Dividing us apart.
Living life without you,
Well it just breaks my heart.
I long to share your presence,
But you are far away.
One day we'll be together,
Till then those memories stay.

jayne, I'd make a few minor changes, but I give it &&&&& ooops! Make that *****, five stars. I wonder what 'minor changes' might have 'saved' my first 3 marriages. I'd not make them! bri : )
