On the other side of the tide,
The ocean has something carefully hidden
In her cruelty, she is never releasing her dead
But on a blood moon she allows their prayers to be said
How many tears has their loved ones weeped?
She refuses to grant them any relief
Like a cat with a mouse, she does as she pleases
With a perverted thrill, she wickedly teases
She knows all are watching the red in the moon,
Very well knowing their prayers won't be heard
How can such beauty have such a dark side?
I now know the meaning of Jekyll and Hyde
Part 2. Lines running smooth as silk into each other- -end rhymes so effortless one is never jerked around and given whiplash- - I hate to tell you, Bill, but this is good poetry. You have joined the ranks of poet a long long time ago and we are to be congratulated on our good fortune! ! 10+++++
Part 1. Bill, when you started on PH, you said you didn't consider yourself a poet- -I hope by now you have changed your mind. You were either wrong as could be when you said that or my goodness how you have grown! ! ! I think both. And this poem proves it.

The lovely poem and its illustration say so much about the caprices of nature.
