Blood Will Shed Forever Poem by elena winters

Blood Will Shed Forever

Rating: 4.5

blood sheds on black beds
on mothers hearts
on babies hair
on black finger tips
on neglected guns
on unarmed bombs
on green grass
on concrete grounds
take a look around

blood sheds in every direction
north, south, east, west
blood sheds on fresh flowers
blood sheds for hours and hours
blood sheds on invisible footprints
blood sheds on children's eyelids
so when they blink they see the tragic
but how can they understand
they still believe in magic
blood seeps through the crack of the walls
blood forms an image of lost souls
blood creeps up on you like the flu
the blood from the dead or the blood from you
take a look around

blood sheds in iraq
blood sheds in my projects
not arts and crafts
no glue or sparkles
but see me sparkle
when i spark this pen
take you somewhere
you ain't never been
a trip into my heart and mind
what i feel deep down inside
hiding behind my beautiful smile
take a look around

blood will shed forever and ever
until the sun shrivels
and burn away

it appears, in todays life, as if blood is the only substance cheap, available around, to shed profoundly...powerful write, Breeze...here your pen sheds honest-red words...thanks...10

I see red all over. Wow! what a bloodbath. I guess you couldn't stop saying it enough to bring home your point. Perhaps a bit of restraint can be practicd.
