Break Free - Poem by Navneet Vasistha
Black hearts with dark secrets,
clenched teeth everywhere.
False smiles and avenging eyes,
that stop but just to stare.
In this world of injustice,
nothing's remained the same.
Where ever I turn,
they all say 'it's in the game'.
I wish to break free,
but chains are all I got.
'Be the best, ditch the rest'
is not what I was taught.
I'll try and try,
for all my life.
Not to be one of 'em,
even if I have to strife.
