詠菊

錦簇陶籬凝薄霧
丹苞翠葉向西風
蕊寒香冷重陽畫
影瘦魂銷旅雁空
騷客盈樽吟素瓣
遊人沾露賞芳叢
敢言慧質精神暢
亦信華濃秀骨豐


Chant Chrysanthemums

Colorful Tao Fence
gathered the thin fog
The red bracts
the emerald leaves
faced the westerly

Stamens and fragrance cold
pictures in the Double Ninth Festival
Shadows thin
felt transported
wild geese are empty

Tourists became stained with dew
enjoyed the fragrant flowers
Chanted the white petals
poets caroused

Dared to say pure hearts
spirits were cool
Also believe
essences are strong
pretty bones full and round
