Choices Poem by Tia Maria

Choices

Rating: 5.0

Here and safe
in the confines of nothingness
Better than out there
vulnerable to those advances

For now it feels
like some kind of imprisonment
But it's better to choose this
than the alternative

A lifetime of guilt
for a moment of pleasure
It's just not worth it
my secret treasure

Choices... thats a tough one. No matter what we choose there will be a price to pay. You really do have a natural talent here. Your poetry is rhymatic and emotional.
