Circles Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Circles

Let's go for a ride
To be honest it doesn't matter where we go
It doesn't matter what we do,
Let's put the car in drive & ride.
Down all the front streets, all the back and side streets
It doesn't matter much, long as it's you in the passenger seat.
I feel so much better when you're around,
The road opens up and takes us around the bend,
The longer we drive the easier everything becomes.
Afterall time is all we truly have.
C'mon let's go for a ride
To be frank I sat this time alone just for you.
To take in the sights, no matter how sooner or later
We get there.
We can go as far as you want to go,
The road open and the car in motion.
C'mon & ride with me, I promise to be there
If you ever need a ride.
C'mon let's go and travel down the roads
You've always wanted to go.
To be honest it doesn't matter where we go
Or what we do.
Long as it's you in the passenger seat.
Time is truly all we have,
Let's not waste it driving around in circles.
C'mon let's ride
