Civilized? Not Yet!
Is everything a Fraud?
Is everything a Lie!
Talking monkeys
Fooling others,
Talking monkeys
Very dangerously
And sly
Fooling others,
Limiting
Restructuring
Liberty
As Truth,
They purposely
Cover up,
Blinding hearts
And Eye.
Most Countries
Have no Freedom.
And in poverty
They lie,
While
The Ruling Class
Always finds
A way,
To perpetuate
The power of
Their lies,
By strangling
Liberty, Truth
As sadly,
All hope dies...
Not yet civilized,
Our History,
Really hurts,
Made up
Of violence
And political
Dirt.
Liberty and truth have no place in the agenda of the dangerous leaders. They are the ruinous heads that can orchestrate war even without the slightest provocation.
Perpetuation of power and greediness go hand in hand. These are the claws of tyrants in spreading evilness to humanity.
Excellent poem.To me the second stanza was so nice and appealing that I read your poem thrice.Thank u for sharing poet Sandra.
Sandra, I feel your justified hurt and anger. You express it so very very well in all of your poetry. And in doing so, you're constructively dealing with these emotions. And your poetry keeps hitting the reader with a knockout punch!
