A certain portion of happniess
Is due every race and creed.
As much as the heart expresses,
As much as the senses need.
Grief reminds us of what we missed.
It deprives us of delight.
Fear of stumbling makes us resist
Being grateful for these rights.
Claiming our due, we ask of life
To show us the way to be free.
Happiness found does not need price
But claiming it needs honesty.
The pursuit of happinesss...has been, for may, an all-time consuming sport, if not a way of living....In reality though, the majority are not destined to have it. Still lotsa problems we have......So, we are grateful for whatever we get.... Cheers. Subroto

life is not all summer days, we have spring, winter, and fall a proportionate balance, one size fits us all we deserve a share of happiness, paralleled with grief without the yin there is no yang, that is my belief! enjoyed your brilliant poem Fay
I have never thought of grief in this light. Thank you for showing me, how lucky I actually am...I have many regrets, through many a moment of happiness because of just being who I am. Smiling at you Tai
