Claiming Religious Poem by Ayi Escalona

Claiming Religious

She wrote so soft as if an angel
And as if she sang a hymn
More so..she prayed to save others
She knelt for hours

But the wolf is not new
So does the cloth she wore
But sadly….it's not good to judge
And we knew it well
But, for good sake

I hope she will scrape her mask
Because her real face is protruding
Ask me, how did I know
Because I'm just a millimeter away

Seems that you unmasked a she-wolf. Diablos are everywhere now!

I love how the whole tone of the poem changes dramatically in the 2nd stanza. Great work friend.10/10

An incisive poem. There are so many wolves in sheep's clothing in the world.
