Commitment Poem by David Harris

Commitment

We all commit ourselves to something
whether it be a person or work.
They become the most important thing
that will enter our lives.
We cherish them with our heart
from our beginning to the end
and woe be tide if someone
tries to take them away.
We'll fight to our dying breath
to keep them for our own.
For we have the commitment
that comes but once in our lives.

They become of utmost importance Not sure, in the end the poet himself knows best.
