He feels his poem a masterpiece
He don’t accept objective comments
He is lazy to read other poems
He looks only the score and prize
He loves too much popularity
He begs to read his poetry
He thinks like a king with pride
He believes he is one of kind in the world.
A very intriguing write on other poets who fail to read other poets' work. While we all write for our own self satisfaction and a comment or two makes our endeavors gratifying, we must never make demands upon our fellow writers to comment on our work. Writing is in itself a joy, and to expect others to comment on our writing sort of anchors that joy on other people's approval. That certainly would be the joy-killer of this art.
A great write full of insight into the mind of a conceited poet he is too proud to learn which will be his downfall!
