Control Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Control

I may not be able to control all of the
things around me or even stop
myself from thinking half the
things I do.
I've conditioned myself to expect bad
things to happen, my worse days
always occur on what was supposed
To be my best. Except the day that I met
you. You know, It's funny. Of all the
times that I chose to keep quiet.
You'd be the one to change that.
My face normally says everything that
my words cannot. Of all the things that
I am not able to control. I am glad that you're
one of them. I couldn't imagine
not being able to see myself
without you
