Cowboy Soul Untamed - Poem by Lisa Lydon Stewart
No words of her... as his words said... with charm.
His eyes to involved with my movements he longed.
Our thoughts were revolving my details he cased, no word be forgotten.
For days the chatter danced in my head, this stranger i met soon layed in our bed.
With each passing hour my heart grew with love, his thank you mam, hello beautiful was a gift from above.
My lonely soul touched....my passion revived, if only i knew the evil that lied.
In one silent moment i knew what i had done, this mistress of evil i had become.
Selfish and thoughtless this man owned my heart, not for one moment did i feel apart.
Through miles in distance his thoughts always near not caring of the women who owned him for years.
She suffered the days his prowess ignored, She loved him regardless in need and in scorn.
I m sorry i hurt you though you may not know, I live with his memory but he i will never own.
I released him times so many to return with such shame he owned me as well with his cowboy soul untamed.
