A delightful tale! I can see it so clearly as a child's story illustrated with coyotes under the moon. Excellent!

They learned to appreciate More things in life Than a brilliant moon That would just cause them strife. A beautiful poem, inspirational and educative with it's moral imbibed in the above stanza. Heartiest congratulations for the Poem of the Day.

Very well done. By far the best of the three poems of the day today. I agree with Barry Middleton. It's too bad the people of the world can't learn to get along like your coyotes did.

Drawn to the light of your poem..I write often of my love for the moon's lure. I believe it helps me to remember to always look UP! And on a lighter note...My nickname IS Coyote Sue. PEACE to You, under the beautiful moon.

Another fantastic poem. Though I do love the moon, you are so correct about the strife it brings. You write many good poems.
