Crystal Teardrops Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Crystal Teardrops

Rating: 5.0

Sweet sadness pouring over young ones, flowing down their faces
in crystal teardrops.

No one wiping them free, they adhere to hearts, strangling them
with ineptitude as adults look on and away from their grief.

Placing too much emotional baggage upon such tiny children,
expecting them to live up to adult expectations without having
been taught or given the tools by which to accomplish this.

Crystal Tear drops is such a heart rending poem so pure and clean like the innocent young ones. So true! The children carry an emotional baggage specially when the parents and adults expect and demand a lot more than they can digest without any kind of guidance. A trend that is in vogue all over the world. Dear Roseanne, here is full 10 for this excellent observation!
