Dad- My inspiration

Yes, dear dad
So far I was led
on the road, in life and everywhere
without any fear
you were a protective shield
and you held that position
till I grew with adulthood
so far, you provided food and everything
you came tired from the work
but never uttered a word
never made me know about hardship
and problems to keep life going
I saw you from the close
you chose to be a real head
and read from our face
what all we needed in life's race
mom never interfered
but you deterred
everyone from showing misbehaviour
you stood for commitment and honour
Today, I am in that position
it is very hard to maintain the relation
with a source of minimum income
it hardly occurred to mind at that time
