Daft Wee Zoomer Poem by gershon hepner

Daft Wee Zoomer

Rating: 5.0

Too old to be a baby boomer,
for lassies he still has the hots,
although they call him daft wee zoomer
when he goes lowland on the Scots.

“Never seen a daft wee zoomer before? ” in Scots means, “Have you never seen a slightly out-of-touch erratic person with a volatile disposition before? ” This poem is dedicated to my favorite Inverness lassie, Anna Russell.

Young Anna is my favourite Inverness maiden as well, Gershy. And with its wit and goodwill, this poem is a fine tribute to her. Love to both of you, Gina.
