Dates Acrostic
Dark brown dry fruit delicacy and delicious
Almond pitted and highly nutricious
Tasty Arabian chocolate hued treat
Eastern 'n' Persian sweetmeat
Soft insides, dessert of the desert, so sweet!
Islam encourages marital spouses and doesn't allow premarital fickle sweetheart dates
Thus the only dates allowed are the edible ones you see on rozedar's plates.

so sweet like the dates...........................and the restrictions of dates in Islam can be a theme for debate indeed yet I feel there is a sweetness in it as well................
nice straight forward lines...stating a religious dictum drawing attention to the holy month of ramadan the word play injects a freshness into the iftar.. :) i remember as a student decades back we used it to similar advantage to tease our class fellows. nice liked
