Dawn At Dusk
On the horizon the sun settled
As if to give them a minute to think
Like the way they say your life gives you a moment
To look back
To rejoice or lament
Before death takes over
This was dawn
No it was dusk
Depending on where you stood
The sun of youth gone
Real life finally rising
They had to take responsibility
To put on shoes that no one had prepared them
So they just looked at the rising sun
Damn! This was finally it...
