Dawn's Light Crack Open Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Dawn's Light Crack Open

Rating: 4.8

Let the candlelight shine on yr face
As the darkness burns our souls
The light will cool it down with hope,
For all the nights we would comfort each other
Until dawn's light
Cracks open the morning
And there's no black clouds to darken yr frown
Let our kisses bathe our bodies,
Washing our old sins away
But the dirt can't be removed easily,
As the sunlight dries the stains,
We cleaned our souls once more
