Desire Is A Wayward Bird Poem by Dr Dillip K Swain

Desire Is A Wayward Bird

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes I feel
To go back to my childhood
To play hide and seek game
To loll under mother's lap!

Sometimes I feel
To be a soft piece of cotton
To wipe away drops of tears
From the fragile eyes
Of my sweet daughter!

Sometimes I feel
Flying across the blue sky
Like a stress-free bird
From distance to distance!

Desire is a wayward bird
Sometimes fly sometimes not
