Sparrow's Orchestra Poem by Dr Dillip K Swain

Sparrow's Orchestra

Rating: 4.5

She comes out to sing
to express happiness
from her house of
paper, straw and grasses
cheeps cheeps voice
as like as nightingale's
loud whistling crescendo.
Awakens my dreary senses
in a chorus with cuckoos
and breeze ruffling eucalyptus
scripting splendid melody
in a concert sublime and holy.

It's a blameless sparrow
flying from boughs to boughs
in lightening flaps of wings
awakening petals of flowers
to emit engaging fragrances
and pulsating their senses
cheeps…cheeps, voice delicious
and melody harmonious
to enjoy rapturous serenity
in utter tranquility.

Let the sparrow fly; fly over the sky to spread the peace of freedom!

Your descriptions reflect your keen observation and a natural flair for good vocabulary.Excellent imagery! And of course who wouldn't love a sparrow. Lovely creatures to observe!
