simple and free
thats the way i should be
but im not
i should know how to fly
i should know how to try my odds

close my eyes and believe
thats the way i should be
but im not
i should learn to behave
i should learn to stay, but i wont

despair despair
you keep trying
to kill me on your way
but you know, you know you keep drowning
every small step that i take

i should sleep permanently until im happy
and then wake up under a bed
and then sing, finally, and crawl
(stop hiding)
outside to enjoy my day
