Detailed Narration About Manet's Painting

Ekphrasis

Ekphrasis about the painting Breakfast with Manet.
I would like to elaborate on it in this piece.

Manet based it on several examples he has seen:
of his contemporaries, but also of his ancient predecessors.

He noted it all in his Artbook Manet Portraying Life.

The painting has been given the name Déjeuner sur l'herbe,
painted in oil paint and looks very cozy.

After the various examples that he has collected and noted,
finally he painted his oil painting 'Déjeuner sur l'herbe'.

The painting is a scene with his family members (his wife and his niece) and his friend. So they posed for him.

Manet dates from the Pre-Impressionist era,
so the painting was just made in-house,
it was not until the time after Manet that Impressionism appeared.
That is classified according to the different movements,
Impressionism professes painting outside the house,
from sunrise until dark (sunset) .

I will mention here the names Manet noted in his Artbook:

He started with a Design by Raphael
from an engraving by Marcantonio Raimondi from ca.1515.
It is in the Staatsgalerie in Stuttgart, Germany

His second note was
from Antoine Watteau's painting from 1713
La Partie Carrée.

Furthermore, it belonged to James Tissot
of the same name from 1870 at the Art Renewal Center.

I also find the name Claude Monet with 'le Déjeuner Sur
l'herbe 'from the year 1865-1866,
it hangs in Musée d'Orsay, Paris.

You also have Paul Cézanne, his painting of the same name
1876-1877 and can be seen in Musée de l'Orangerie.

Also on view by Paul Gauguin from 1897 in Boston
at the Museum Of Fine Arts with the intriguing titles:
'Where do we come from?
What are we?
Where are we going? '.

Finally, from Pablo Picasso as the finalist
Les Démoiselles d'Avignon,1907
at the Museum Of Modern Art, New York (MoMA) ,

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I have written a poem about Manet before, really a poem but this is my first time writing an Ekphrasis. So that's not a poem but a very detailed and complete description of Manet's painting. After all, I am first a paintress and then a poetess.
