I'm different, in
private dreams, where there are no
ramifications.
I'm more - adult? I
handle things decisively
- no second guessing.
And I KNOW what I
want - is that because it's all
erased on waking?
Do we practice life,
in our restless dreams - trying
on other selves?
YOU ARE A VERY INTELLIGENT TEEN I HAD ONCE BEEN TRAVEL MAKES US WILD AND WISDOM WISE WIDE YOU HAVE THAT ACUMEN INCULCATED MAY BE TO ME IT CAME NATURALLY SO I ASK ALL WHO READ ME COME ABIDE WITH ME
It's supposed to be a factory where the day's impressions are sorted into pathways of association. According to the evolutionary paradigm, there must be a functional reason. There are competing drafts of one's self-construct, and they get chances to star in their own narratives. But I think play-doh is a better explanation.
I sure as do but I don't remember most of my dreams most of the time unless they have scared me shitless.
I think, everybody is rather a little different (or in a big way?) in his/ her dreams than his/her own normal self in daily life. This is because, in dreams, s/he can do whatever s/he likes. No inhibition. Congratulations on your poem's selection today (not this one) as the 'Member Poem of the Day'!
I had these questions. Neve foun an answer but I enjoyed my dreams.Still do. Great poem!

Dreams are complex thing to understand. In simple terms a communication between conscious and unconscious when we are finding difficulty to really deal with. Otherwise dreams seems more like flashes ununderstood. Thanks for sharing.
