Distance Makes The Heart Grow Colder
As distance keeps growing
and the wind keeps blowing
my heart begins to shiver
yearning for your touch
it aches so much
looking for warm words
cooler words go unheard
heart continues to shiver
hoping for my prince to deliver
and the longer I wait
the more I feel you are not my mate
for if you were
you would not deter
from placing your lips on mine
distance makes my heart grow colder
every time
