Dogma Poem by Eric Cockrell

Dogma

Rating: 4.5

mankind's attempts,
however feeble,
to draw the wings of the hawk
with broken crayons,
with which to fly.

never knowing they're
already flying!

This is an outstanding piece of writing. Bitterly ironic as well. I loved the sharpness of your tone. It stood right where it should be.
