Doing As They Chose To Do Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Doing As They Chose To Do

With the last finger raised,
Outstreched and pointed...
To someone else to accuse,
For problems existing.
Prehaps then and only then,
Will it become fact...
That,
All who were taught to point their fingers...
At someone else,
Were also shown how best to disrespect themselves.
Until no one is left to care who did what and why,
To who.
Because they all had excuses to do what they did,
With a doing as they chose to do.
