Duet Sung Alone Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Duet Sung Alone

Rating: 5.0

I found my love walking a one-way street.
Imagine how confusing ‘tis to find
Not knowing love's will— felt out of my wit,
It was chaotic but of cuter kind.
Quiet my love came, clueless all the same,
Frozen with unknown chill, warm still no less,
A strange seed sprouts as if, unknown its aim,
The way love builds nests, hard is it to guess.

Yet, no nest still by a pair of birds made,
Built sure for two, and good for a far date,
At its plinth-stone a precious little jade,
A single bird longed to sing a duet.
But to my luck, same frustration she felt,
And love for long frozen, began to melt.

But to my luck, same frustration she felt, And love for long frozen, began to melt........brilliant conceptualization. Beautiful poem on love and romance is justifiedly delineated. Thanks for sharing.10
