How do I preach these words again to make you understand?
How do I show you the realities of life and all it has to offer?
How do I make you understand there's no more repentance in the grave,
From dust to ashes we shall return back to the earth some day.
All our memories will be long gone and forgotten,
All our dreams will be faded petals on broken mortars turned into solitary hymns hoping to find a safe haven.
There'll be no chance to say good bye, no chance to bid another farewell,
Will you finally believe me when I'm gone or while I'm still standing here?
