Early Works - No Smoking Zone Poem by David Harris

Early Works - No Smoking Zone

Shucks cannot have a puff
of the dreaded weed
the non-smokers have been at it again
sticking posters on the walls.
What a waste!
You cannot smoke
but they can litter the walls.
Now imagine the poor graffiti writer
who is punished for his joy,
but the non-coughers
can deface any wall
without a protest to be heard.
That was until now.
Smokers of the world unite
and stop these stickers
from ruining our walls.
