Emo! Emo! Emo! You'Re An Emo! - Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

You see that girl sitting over there in the corner?
Yeah, her.
She's always so quiet and... dark.
I think she might cut herself.
How disgusting is THAT?
I don't think we should be her friend anymore.
I mean,
what would people say about us?
I mean,
I can just here it now.
Emo hugger! Emo hugger!
Ugh, but if we go over there
and tell Jake
nobody will think we're friends with her!
Hey Jake!
Did you hear that she CUTS herself?
I mean,
don't tell anyone but
I think it's just sick.
*The next day, her story*
Hey, what's everyone talking about.
How much we hate emos.
And since that includes you, get lost ya creep.
Wait, what? I'm not-
EMO EMO EMO EMO! ! YOU'RE AN EMO!
This is what they keep chanting.
She can't walk down the halls without being glared at
by her so called friends.
Her shoulder is burning
where she knows her cuts are hiding.
She runs home from school
hoping to find relief in her room.
Even if it's only for a little while.
But she comes home to a screaming match
and is suddenly regretting hurrying home.
And the next day is the same.
And the next.
And the next.
But today,
there's a change.
She's gone.
The night before she cut herself on each wrist
with three long, deep lines.
Then watched the blood drain from her body.
Then smiled when her mom came in screaming at her
only to cry in surprise to see her almost dead daughter
become her dead daughter.
